In order to facilitate snow removal, the
Brussels Council requests that there be no.
parking on streets over night during ,the
winter months. Cars will be towed away at
owner's expense.

ANOTHER $31900 CHEQUE, The Brussels,
Morris and Grey Catering Committee. presented
the B. M.E3. arena' with a $3,000 cheque for its
operating expenses. This is, the second $3,000
cheque the catering committee has given to the
arena, and was presented by .Marg Dillow,
treasurer of the catering committees O Wayne

control - over the hall, a
Chamber of Commerce
would also help, by having ,
one main organization
looking, after such things as
improvements in the village
and surrounding areas.

All 'councillors, Bill McArter and George
Michie were appointed to the Morris
Township. Recreation- Committee. Council
decided to retain Allan Mill of Crawford,
Mill and Davies, as'its solicitor, but decided
to, leave the appointment of its auditors for
the time being.
Council also passed a by-law entering into
an agreement with Dorothy Dalton for the
reforestation of a portion of tot 15,
Concession S of Morris Township, subject to
Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR)
approval. They also pasSed 'a borrowing
by-law to borrow to the extent of $250,000,
Council ,decided to make. donations of $25-
tO the Mental Health Society and $10 to the
March of Dimes.
Council also approved tile drain loan
applications for Charlie Terpstra and Russ.
Kelly at $18,000 each, approved the
severance application of Vernon Somers and
gave third reading to a by-law on the Coultes
Municipal Drain.
At an earlier council meeting, council had
also heard that the open house dates to
discuss The Section 86 tax assessment will be
held January 14 and 15 from 1-9 p.m. at the
Brussels, Morris .and Grey Community
Centre for the people of those three places
and they will also be held on January 19 and
26 at the regional assessment• office in
Goderich.
