The Midgets were defeated by Blyth 7-2 in a game where ' the boys, couldn't buy a goal! Brussels goals Were scored by Ken Cousins from Brian Tenpas and Kevin Bishop from Ken Cousins, The Atoms had no trouble in winning their game 14-3 over Hensall. Marty Rutledge scored 6 goals, Dean. Wheeler 5, Mike Saion 2, Steven Wheeler 1. Assists went to Rodney Nicholson, Bobby Badley, Dean Nicholson, Marty Rutlege, Dean Wheeler., The Bantam, teams played next in Hensall andplayed to a 5-5 tie. They had, their problems getting the puck in the net but managed to come up with . a 5-S tie against the Mitchell visitors. Mitchell scored the only goal in the first period with Brussels coming back :to tie the score at the 10 second mark"of the second period. It was Blaine McCutcheon unassisted who whistled it past the Mitchell goalie. Mitchell came back to score 3 more unanswered goals in the next five minutes to lead 4-1. Brussels returned with two more goals at .the thirteen and fifteen minute mark to --make the ,core 4,3,,and finish a good second Period Of hockey.
