The worship prepared by

theme, "The Advent of
Christmas" was depicted
with candles representing
the Advent namely, Hope,

The president Mrs.
William Bennett gave a
reading concerning a
"Christmas in South
Africa." She told about all
the hardships the
missionaries endured and
how they tried to make
Christmas like it was in their
homeland Canada. As a
result of gifts received from
relatives and friends the
Christmas in Africa was a
happy occaison.
Rev. Orrence Laramie
reminded everyone that
Christmas is the time for
giving and especially to help
missionaires at home and
abroad. If we think of others
a little more and ourselves a
little less, then we will truly
have the "Christmas Spirit".
Rev. Laramie also thanked
the Guild on behalf of the
Church for all their support
in the past year. A gift
exchange was greatly
enjoyed by all. Mrs. Harry
King served a light lunch and
