Friendship
Club dinner
There were 12 tables of
euchre and one of bridge.,
'iplaying following meeting.
Winners were as follows:
high lady - Berva Dennis;
sec. high lady - Mrs. Stevens
low lady - Eleanor Heming--
way; high man - Bill Grasby;
sec. high man -
Turnbull; low man - Gertie
Bolger playing as man.

Brussels Friendship Club
held their December 4th
meeting in the Legion 'Hall.
About 65 sat down to a
delidious dinner served by
the Legion ladies.
Lulu Kerr at the piano. A
vote of thanks was extended
to the ladies serving the
meal.
Peggy Cudmore conducted
a sing song of Christmas
carols. Verna Thomas had a
parcel passed around to
music.
The business part of the
meeting followed with presi-
dent Fred Thuell in the chair.
Gertie Bolger, secretary, ,
reported 21 star members.
A thank you card was read
from Mary Yuill and Mrs.
Wynne. A gift was to be sent
to Elsie Shaw, having the
misfortune to break her hip
recently.
Next meeting will be held
Jan. 16.
