GIBSON — EATON Catherine Maxine Eaton and Donald Harris Gibson exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, October 6 at St. Paul's Cathedrai, London. The bride is, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Eaton, London. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gibson of Brussels are the groom's parents. The Reverend Kenneth B. Keefe, Dean of Huron, performed the double ring ceremony. Wedding music was provided by D. Mervyn Games, organist and the soloist was Bevan Keating. Brenda Boucher of London was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Karen Bruton of Sarnia, Katie Avery of Stratford and Peggy GibSOn, sister of the groom of London. The best man was Peter Gibson brother of the groom of 'Saudi Arabia. Ushers were John Eiton, brother of the bride of London, Bill Sellers of Brussels and Bob Thomas of Brussels. Myron Hladyniuk Jr., nephew' of the bride, was the ring bearer. FolloWIng a reception at the Ivanhoe Curling Club, the couple left on a honeymoOn trip to Jamaica. They are now residing in London. Mr. Cecil Skinner, Mr. Norman Speir, and Mrs. Elsie Henderson provided the musical entertainment at Old Tyme Music on Monday afternoon. During the week of Dec- ember 3-9, the Wingham OPP conducted forty investi- gations. Fourteen charges were laid under the Highway Traf- fic Act and twenty warnings were issued. Seven charges were laid under the Liquor Licence Act. ' Four other charges were laid. During the week, there were ten motor vehicle collis- ions 'which caused an esti- mated $15,700.00 in property damage and injuries to two persons. On Saturday, December 8, Karen L. The choir sang a couple of Christmas carol, Cecil Skinner sang "There is something about that name.' Nelson Lear sang the sok. "Have thy own way Lord." Cecil Skinner and Norman Speir teamed, up together and played violin duet, accompanied by Mr. Bissett at the piano. Mrs. Prouty held Bible study on Thursday afternoon and in the evening at family -tight, we were fortunate to have the Wesley Willis church choir in concert.
