The U,C.W. of Knox United Church Belgrave held their Christmas meeting November 27th. The Nominating Committee's report was pre- sented by Mrs. John Ander- son and Mrs. Jack Higgins. The Worship took the form of a Candlelight Service which had been written especially ' for the U,C.W. Mrs. Janisa. Coultes conducted the Worship which centred in Joy, Peace, Light and Love. Mrs. Ken Wheeler, Mrs. Don Vair, Mrs. Jack Taylor and Mrs. Leslie Bolt gave readings which tied in the U.C.W. Purpose with the Christmas message, emphasizing Witness, Study, Fellowship, and Service. Piano selections played by Mr. Don Vair were very much enjoyed. Mrs. Ross Anderson, Mrs. Leslie Bolt, Mrs. Laura Johnston, Mrs. Helen Martin, Mrs. Bert Johnston and Mrs. Jim Coultes pre- sented the program. They discussed what the perfect Christmas gift would be. Hall with Leonard Baird in the chair and Clarence Hanna recording secretary. A very interesting rdm was ipresented by Blake Evans of 'the Natural Resources,.
