BACK TO BRUSSELS—Santa, Rudolph and an
elf were returning a doll who had escaped to the
North Pole, back to Brussels when the Brownies
held their Christmas concert at the Brussels
Public School on Monday night. Playing the
parts were Leanne Minelly as Santa, Kim Zettel
as Rudolph, April Ten Pas as the Christmas
doll in the sleigh and Dianne Hall as the elf.

Obituaries
County councillors up their pay
TREVELYN HAINSTOCK
Trevelyn Hainstock
of 91 King St, Milton
(formerly of Fordwich) died
Thursday November 22 at
the Milton and District
Hospital following a sudden
illness. lie was 63 years old.
He was the son of the late
Walter E. Hainstock and
Elizabeth (Lynn) Hainstock
and was married to the
former Joy Gadke who still
survives him. He was a
transport, driver for Smith
Transport and a member of
the Fordwich United Church.
Also surviving • are one
daughter, Mrs. John
Bateman of Ethel, four
grandchildren and three
great grandchildren and one
sister Mildred (Mrs. Robert
Connell) of Listowel.
Funeral services were held
from the Gorrie Chapel of the
M.L.Watts Funeral Home in
Gorrie on Saturday,
November 24, with Rev.
Duart Lynn and Rev. T.
Fleetham officiating. Burial
followed in the Fordwich
cemetery. Pallbearers were
Jack and Clayton Brown,
Gordon Steinacher, Glenn
Johnston, Russell Ruttan and
Scott Keith.

Dr, Walter Lee Allan
Wardlaw, 890 Jane Street,
Toronto, passed away in
North Western Hospital,
Toronto, on Friday, Nov-
ember 30th.
Surviving besides his wife,
the former Edith Finlay,
Toronto, are two daughters,
Susan of Toronto and Carol
and Benny-Crabitchick of
Brantford; his mother, Mrs.
Luella Wardlaw of Ethel; a
dose friend, Mark Beaks of
Brantford.
Predeceased by his father,
Dr. Douglas Wardlaw and
one sister.
A private family service
and committal for Dr. Ward-
law was held at the Peebles
Funeral Home, Atwood on
Saturday, Dec. 1st at 2;00
p.m. Interment in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.

still had to be done, including an agreement
with the Conserveration Authority on the
flood plain mapping, incorporation of the
flood plain policy statements into secondary
plan, and updating the by-law text.
Huron County Council has
appointed William Tim
Collyer, of Napanee,
assistant administrator of
Huronview Home for the
Aged in Clinton. A Lucknow
area native, Mr. Collyer was
previously with the Bank of
Montreal.
The appointment is to be
effective January 1, 1980,
for a probationary period of
six months.
The position became
available when Huronview's
administrator, Chester
!Archibald retired and
assistant administrator,
Wayne Lester took. Mr.
Archibald's position.
