Choice Steers - 79.00 to 83.00. Good Steers - 76.00 tot 79.00. Twenty-nine steers con- signed by L & B Farms of Wallenstein averaging 1172 lbs. sold for 83.00 with their lot of 37 steers averaging 1169 lbs. selling for 82.80. Fourteen herford steers consigned by Henry Farms of Blyth averaging 1083 lb. sold for 82.20 with their 27 holstein steers averaging 1412 lbs. sold for 71.00. Seven steers consigned by Emerson Mitchell of Walton averaging 1220 lbs. sold fot 82.00. Six steers consigned by Maple Emblem Farms of Dungannon averaging 1091 lbs. sold for 82.75 with their lot of 40 steers averaging 1117 lbs. selling for . an overall price of 81.70. Four steers consigned by R.M. Scott of Seaforth averaging 1262 lbs. sold for 82.00. Thirteen steers consigned by Jacob Weins of St. Cle- ments averaging 1122 lbs. sold for an overall price of 82.15. Three steers consigned by Murray Wagg of R.R.5, Mitchell averaging 1170 lbs. sold for 81.85. Choice Heifers - 75.00 to 79.00 with sale sot 81.00. Good Heifers - 73.00 to 75.00. A heifer consigned by Gerald Wheeler of Brussels fl weighing 990 lbs. sold for 81.00 with his lot of 10- heifers averaging 989 lbs, selling for 76.50. A heifer consigned by Arthur Fitch of Wroxeter weighing 1090 lbs. sold for 77.25 with his lot of 13 heifers averaging 925 selling for an overall price of 75.70. Cecil Skinner was the soloist at the Sunday morning service. Sunday evening Mr.Dick Roorda held a service in the auditorium. A good attendance was on hand on Monday afternoon to enjoy Molly Cox and Old Tyme Music. The men spent Tueday morning in the we Dclworking room preparing a mobile which will be hung in the main diningroom. The ceramic class met on Tuesday afternoon under the direction of Mrs. Betty Fawcett. Evidence of their The Huron County Federation 'of Agriculture is sponsoring a meeting at Blyth Public School on Dec. 6th at 8:30. A panel discussion will be held on "How the media influences the Public's perception of Agriculture." Panel members are Ross Daly of CFPL., London, farm work will be seen throughout the home shortly. Bluevale Women's In- stitute celebrated with all residents whose birthdays were in November. The M.C. for the afternoon was Mrs. Chas. Mathers. Mouth organs were played by Mr. Harvey Robertson, and Mrs. Gordon Walker accompanied by Mrs. Conn at the piano. "Too short at one end", was the name of the comical skit put on by the ladies. Following the skit, the ladies had a community sing, with Mrs. Harold Jonston at the piano. Gifts were dis- tributed, and cakes and tea edhor of CFPL and host of the T.V. program "This Business of Farming", Henry Hess, Editor of the Wingham Advance Times and Bob Trotter, a journalism- lecturer at Conestoga College and author of the newspaper column "One Foot in the Furrow". was served .at the close.
