A LUCKY CANADIAN GIRL
I'm a little Canadian girl
My head is always in a whirl
With games to play and things to do,
There's lots of fun for me and you.
Our table's filled with food each day
To make me grow up strong and gay
With schools and churches taking care
That everyone may get their share.

CHILDREN
Are all children as well off as I?
Some children will soon die,
Make our world a better place,
So we may have a brighter face.
Some need a home, and 'they don't care,
If a rat or mouse lives there,
We 'all need love once in a while,
So please give us at least a smile.

Insurance Plan, but from his
Ministry's administrative
budget. The Minister said,
"I am going to tell them the
fact that since 1972 the per
capita spending on health-.
care has gone up from $205
to $500, and even when one,
allows for inflation that's a
big increase . . .1 think it is
in the interests of public
information and the
democratic system that the
people have the in-
formation." The Ministry
budget of $4.25 billion equals
the entire provincial budget
when Mr. Davis became
premier in 1971.
About fifty per cent of the
manufacturers who
answered a survey by the
Ontario Labour Ministry are
having trouble filling jobs in
skilled trades. The positions
which employers are trying
to fill are for machine
operators, machinists, tool,
die and mold makers,
engineers; welders and
electricians. Employers said
many applicants lacked skills
and on-the-job experience.
The Labour Minister said he ,
would use the information to
address, the problems
through manpower policies.
The Government has in-
troduced legislation that
would ban discrimination
against the disabled. The
proposed new act has two
main purposes, Labour
Minister Robert Elgie told
the Legislature: - To make it
illegal to refuse to hire the
handicapped, or to fire them
or deny them public
accommodation or services
because ,,of the handicap.
This includes the physically
disabled, epileptics, the
mentally, retarded and those
who "formerly had a mental
disdrder." - To set up an
office for the handicapped to
provide information about
?rOfframs and benefits.
Health Minister Dennis
Timbrell said this week that
his ministry will seek a
judgement forcing John.
Brown to repay almost $1
million he defrauded from
the ministry.
Mr. Timbrell made the
statment during an interview
outside the Legislature when
asked whether he would
attempt to recover $975, 615
defrauded by Mr. Brown
between 1971 and 1975.
Mr. Brown is the founder
of the Browndale treatment
