About 35 relatives and friends attended. On arrival, Dianne pinned corsages on Angela, her mother Rose Phillips, the groom-elect, Dave Huether's; mother and grandmother Mary Huether and Edna McDonald. Also in attend- ance were the bride's two sisters Mrs. Diane Clark of Woodstock and Mrs. Mary Ann Johnston of Goderich. Miss Cheryl Dale, a close friend from Seaforth, was also present. Miss Joan Huether con- ducted two contests after which Dianne Huether read an address and the guest of honour was presented with many lovely and useful gifts. Misses Jeanne McDonald of Walton and Sandra Huether of Brussels joined the bows from the gifts on an apron and displayed the gifts. Angela thanked every- one for the gifts. Lunch was served by the hostess, assisted by the groom-elect's aunts from the Brussels and Walton areas r Marilyn McDonald, Leona McDonald, Isabel Huether and Marie McTaggart and his sister Joyce Tirple of Burlington. Earlier Angela was hon- oured at a shower at the home of Betty and Norman MacLean of Seaforth on October 4.
