Ladies Slo-Pitch by defeating the Milverton team and they posed for a picture afterward. Fred Sawyer bowled 267 to give him second high single and a second high triple of 656. Third high single went to Dennis Newby with his game of 237. Ray Adams took third high triple with 633. High ladies single goes to Marlene Courie with 233. She was followed by Helen Adams with 181 and Carolyn Whitefield with 174. It was a real toss up for high triples. Marlene Courie and Carolyn Whitfield tied for first with 503. Isabel Sims and Helen{ Adams tied fir second with 467. Judy Adams was 3rd with 440. Bowlers with games over 200 were: Ray Adams 230 and 205, Danny McKay 210, John Rae 217, Bill Johnston 209, Fred Sawyer 267 and 219, Ken Wiens 209, Jim Adams 294, 270 and 228, Fred Cousins 213, 212, Marlene Courie 233, Larry Keffer 210 and Lawrence 'Machan 210. In team results, "Sure Shots" took seven points off the "Toilet Bowlers"; "Poor Exc-u-u-se took five points off of team 4; and "No Name Brand" took 5 points off of the "Bad News Bears". That's all that happen ed this week on the alleys; till next week that's all folks! People we know Mrs. Alberta Smith and Mrs. Gertrude Bolger were guests at the, Humphries-Fitzimons wedding in Bayfield Anglican Church .on October 12th. Mrs. Adeline Smith was a visitor last week with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lahn and Nancy Jean of Walkerton.
