Congratulations! Marlene Cowie had ladies 2nd high single with 203 and Wilda Higgins was 3rd with 201. Carolyn also took high triple with 624, followed by Wilda Higgins with 553 and Ruth Sauve with 529. Men's high singles and triples all stayed in one. family - Ray Adams bowled high triple with 696; Jim Adams was 2nd with 670 and Joe Adams was 3rd with 667. Jim Adams had the highest men's single., 271, followed by Ray Adams with 266 and Joe Adams with 241. Other bowlers with Games over 200 were Fred Sawyer with 229, Pete Jackson with 201, Dennis Newby 205, Clayton Sauve 210, and Ruth Sauve 200. Team standings changed leaving. Team 2 "Sure Shots" still in first with 18 points. Ray). Adams blamed his sticky shoes for the team not taking the full 7 points Tuesday, Team #5 "Bad News Bears" is in 2nd place with 13 points; followed closely by Team 4 with 1,2 points. Team 6 is in fourth with 9 points and Team 1 "Poor Exc-u-u-se" is 5th with 7 points. I think Team #1 members read the Post last week and since they didn't have any good excuses thought up, they thought they'd better win a game and count up a few points. This moved them just out of last place so they can save their bases loaded and up came those two terrific pitchers to bat and they had a con- sultation and came up with a sure way to hit the ball. Poor Muzz had a three foot hole dug out by third base with his pacing up and down. Dusty was chewing her nails at first down to the knuckles. First up was Mini Maloney-- two strikes on her. Finally she got hold of it and brought in the tieing run and made it to first. Dusty was speech- less for a change. Then Flo came up to bat--bases loaded' again. Flo caught a high pitch and hit it for her first home run of the season and to win the game for us 15-11. She said she saved the best hit for the end of the season. The crowd stood and cheered. Gramma Lowe threw popcorn all over. The only thing was--she forgot to pop it. The team retired to the Queens for a victory celebration and a banquet. Muzz renewed all the girls contracts wit raises for each, flowers for each one. Then he told us his big news--a ride on the Brussels fire truck and a tour around town to the cheers of the crowds which ended an exciting series. This is Scoop signing off until next year. Thanks to all our fans who supported us, our husbands who put up with our late nights and our excuses for another week. Team #3 "No Name Brand" came to "Poor Exc-u-u-se's" relief & volunteered to take bottom position for this week anyway, Fill next week on the alleys, save your strikes! nonsense, to Muzzy who had patience with us and has stuck with us for five years and our umpires who did a good job. Good luck Mrs. Lowe. Maybe it'll be a future Bomber for the team Scoop. A Post Classified will pay you dividends. Have you tried one? Dial Brussels 387-6641. Lions BINGO Every Saturday, at 8:00 p.m. Blyth Memorial Hall 12 reg. games, 3 share the wealth. Jackpot $150.00 in 60 calls (Continued from last week) B.B. Pennington has her problem solved. We make sure she goes to the ladies room before the game starts. Then we hope she'll settle down instead of dancing around second base. Lemon, our rover did a terrific job of catching. Someone 'told her a scout was out in the bleachers watching and she I thought he was from the Blue Jays so she decided to show off. Boy was she mad when she found out it was a boy scout. Shulz, one of our catchers has a new hand sign thumbs up. We aren't sure if she's hitch-hiking or drying her nails. We won this game 12-8. The next game was in Milverton and we won 6-0. We were in top form, especially mamma Lowe, whos is our official score keeper because she cheats in adding up runs. She also has taken up smoking something terrible. She's been seen trying to bend down to pick up Muzzy's butts. Our last game was the best by far. It was close. We were losing 11-7 in the last inning, Gricket Bradshaw had one solution. If we hit and ran to third base and then to second to confuse them. Dusty sent her to the showers to cler her head--said she's still in a fog. This started Muzz smoking two cigarettes at the same time--they weren't even lit. We managed to get three runs in making it 10-11 and Bombers win pennant, pt 2 111 .ROBERT H - • I F- • "TIN WINKLER —c.,. I Efil SYLVESTER STALLONE "ROCKY ir TAUA SHIRE BURTYOUNG CARL WEATHERS...
