There was good attendance at the meeting. The officers for the new term are Pres, Fred Thuell, First Vice Frank Hooper, Sec. Gertie Bolger. Ass. Sec Florence Webb, Treas. Laura Lucus, Pianist, Edna Hackwell, Sunshine-Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hooper. Pres Rep Ethel Long. Ed Martin took the chair for the opening of the meeting with Edna Hackwell at the piano. The meeting opened with the singing of "0 Canada". The minutes of the May meeting were read by Gertie Bolger, moved by Fred Thuell. Following the election Fred Thuell took over the meeting. There is to be a fall rally at Clinton Oct. 17. An invitation to visit the Hershey Chocolate plant at Smith Falls was extended to the club. This was not settled on as the club needs a little time to make plans. Becoming a Star Club was discussed and most were in favour. This means $1 per member a year over the ,regular membership. It was moved by Frank Carter to pay the club's $4 dues to the zone. The next meeting will be held on October 24. A short program followed. THE BRUSSELS.
