ENTICER 250
Beginner or expert, you'll
love the fun-filled Enticer
250. It's small and agile
for easy handling but quick
enough to blur the trees.
Make it your introduction
to snowmobiling!
Ken and Wayne Hopper
hosted a roast beef supper in
the arena for the Belgrave
Kinsmen Club on Sept. 5th.
Blake Evans chaired the
meeting in the absence of
president Paul McKee. John

UCW hears
Mrs. Axtman
A very pleasant afternoon
was spent at the home of
Mrs. De Vries when she
entertained the members of
the Afternoon Unit of the
U.C.W. on Wednesday.
Mrs. Hemingway read a
poem "God Needs Me". A
verse of the hymn "What a
friend we have in Jesus" was
sung. Mrs. Lydia Turnbull
led in prayer followed by the
Lord's Prayer. The Scripture
Isaiah 61:7 was read by Mrs.
Cudmore followed by the
hymn "Will your anchor
hold?"
The guest speaker was
Mrs. Ruth Axtman. She had
attended Camp Menesetung
as well as Alma College
during the summer. She
outlined the courses given
there and shared with the
members the wealth of in-
formation that she had
acquired. She gave many
helpful suggestions and pro-
jects for programs and meet-
ings. The mission study of
Japan along with a Bible
Study session would com-
plete an interesting program.
Many resource books were
suggested by Mrs. Axtman
'such as "Exchange", "Get-
ting it Altogether" and
"Church Women."'Farables
of the Bible and "Sharing
My Faith" were also sug-
gested. Many of these can be
purchased or ordered from
the Resource Centre in
Mitchell.
Members felt that Mrs.
Axtman's hints and suggest-
ions would be most helpful in
making our Mission in Life
more meaningful. A vote of
appreciation was given to
her.
