Brussels has • a very active
club and the club has raised
alot of money to keep the
registration fees in reach of
all who wish to skate. The
Figure Skating fees are the
lowest in the area and we
hope to maintain this. Many
of the execu five members
are parents of senior skating
and the club would Ike to
have parents of the juniors
take on some of the available
positions so they can be
I trained on how to aiways
have a very successful Figure
Skating Club in Brussels.
Brussels has many very
good skaters with more
coming up. The Brussels
F.S.C, won the Inter-Club
championship last year and it
I is hoped to maintain flirt
same level of skating for this
year.
People are urged to come
to the first General meeting
to be held the second
Thursday of skating.

Skating Club sets registration date
A registration date for those • was set when the Brussels
interested in figure skating Figure Skating Club
(B.F.S.C.) executive met at on Tuesday, September 4.

Also attending the
meeting were Mrs. Fay: e
MacDonald and Julie Twyn-
ham, Club Professionals.
The F.S.C. dance which is
to be held on November 17,
with music by Ian Wilbee
was discussed. Lunch will be
served at the dance. Tickets
will be available at the
registration or from the
Executive, or parents of
figure skaters, but there is a
limited number being sold. A
letter will be sent to the
families of all skaters from
last year.
A discussion followed on a
date for this season's
Carnival. It was decided to
hold it late in March. Mrs.
MacDonald will be in charge
of the production. The club is
looking for a lot of willing
helpers to aid in dressing
rooms, etc. A Carnival takes
alot of work to have it run
smoothly and to be a great
