Zucchini is
the versatile
vegetable
There are plenty of fresh
Ontario zucchini on the mar-
ket now. Whether you plan to
cook them, eat them raw or
freeze them for later, now is
the time to stock up, say the
food specialists at the Ont-
ario Ministry of Agriculture
and Food.
Zucchini is a summer
squash, and, unlike the late
or winter varieties, it has a
tender and edible skin. Look
for zucchini that is firm, has
a good green color, and is
free from soft spots. It should
be heavy for its size.
Since it is a very tender
vegetable, zucchini requires
only a short cooking time.
Church officiated at the
services.
Pallbearers were Bill
Elston, Allan Nichol, Tom
MacFarlane, Tom Garniss,
Stewart Humphries and Glen
Bridge. Flower bearers were
Stewart Lowe, Sam
Workman, Allan Webb and
Herb Stretton; and Ted
Elliott, Ross Bennett, Jean
Bridge and Isabel Alcock
formed, the Color Party.
Pallbearers, flower bearers
and the Colour Party were all
members of the Brussels ;
Legion.
Burial followed in the
Brussels cemetery.
