LEWIS STONEHOUSE 887-9847 The Belgrave Women's Institute, held an interesting meeting recently as they toured the George Allen Museum in Wingham. Fol- lowing the tour they returned to the Belgrave W.I. Hall for the business meeting. It was decided to send donations to the Wingham Museum and also to the Save the Children Fund. Mrs. Ross Taylor gave an interesting reading and music by a group of area girls was enjoyed by all. The Huron County Historical Society meeting in the Belgrave Hall was announced for September 5, Mr. Ross Procter is to speak on the history of the pioneer settlement of Bodmin. The next Institute meeting will be held on September 18 with the theme being on "The year of the Child". Joanne Coultes daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Coultes has recently passed the Grade VII examination from Toronto Conservatory of Music. Joanne Also re- ceived 1st Class Honours in her Grade I theory ex- amination from the Con- servatory. Joanne is a piano pupil of Mrs. Judy Morton. Congratulations Joanne.
