President Alan Whytock took charge of the business after the noon meal. He was wearing the President's pin which was donated by Miss Mary Hemingway of Eng- land and bears the Rose of Smiles Yorkshire. He later gave it to David Hemingway the incoming president. The secretary-treasurer, Miss Phyllis Hemingway, Galt, read the minutes of the previous year which were adopted. It was moved that a donation be given the Lion's Park. The picnic was invited to Jim and. Ruth Axtmann's for next year. Election of officers was held. Prizes were given out by Mrs. Jean Beaumont to youngest - Lyle Hemingway oldest - Mrs. Edna Potruff, Nearest birthday - Christine Beaumont, Coming longest distance - Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCutcheon, Scotland, Ont. Pictures fo the group were taken. Mr. Lavern Godkin con- ducted races for the young people and swimming was enjoyed. After supper the Heming- way relatives left for home after a very enjoyable reunion.
