containers, qts. 4 qts. or 6 qts. We sell containers if
you have none. Farm is 6 mi. east of Brussels or 6
mi. west of Newry. We will also have Pick Your Own
Raspberries. Season starts July 20 and potatoes for

Senior's week at Huronview
If the address label
Senior Citizens Week
began at Huronview with
Rev. Wittick holding Church
Service in the auditorium
With him was the Blyth
Church Choir and our own
Huronview Choir also sang.
On Monday, we welcomed
Wingham Hapy Gang, and
The Happy Citizens from
Seaforth. The entertainment
on Monday afternoon was
Card Games with prizes, put
on by the Seaforth Sr.
Citizens. Hanna Wilson was
at the door to greet our
guests, and look after
registration.
Tuesday, the Golden
Radar Club from Clinton,
Golden Gate Club from
Goderich, and the Good
Companions from
Dashwood, . along with the
Three Links from Hensall
visited with us. Our own
Huronview Residents put on
the afternoon programe.
Elsie Henderson, Norm.
Speirs, and Cecil Skinner
entertained us with several
rnusicial numbers. Elsie
Henderson, accompanied by
Frank Bissett on the piano,
made her "Dancing Doll"
perform. Mrs. Snell played
".My Wild Irish Rose", and
"Let me Call You
Sweetheart", on the piano.

Dr. Ross K. and Mrs.
Thomson were presented
with a painting on behalf of
the congregation, following
the regular service 'on
Sunday Morning, June 24 in
honour of their 40th wedding
anniversary.
Dr. Thomson will be
having his holidays in July.
There will be no service in
Knox next Sunday, July 1 but
the following Sunday, July 8
Dr. Hugh Davidson of
Listowel will conduct the
service. Sunday School has
been cancelled for July.
Miss Sandra . Cameron,
Barrie, spent the past week
with her family herd.
Mrs. Betty Hirzel and
daughter Holly of Fraser,
Mich. spent a few days here.
Mrs. Bob Peter of
Bowmanville visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn.
Alex Cameron was a
patient in Listowel Hospital
for a few days and on Friday
was removed to St. Joseph's
hospital, London, where he
underwent surgery on
Saturday morning.
Mrs. Elwood Roe, Atwood,
and Mrs. Lylle Gordon
Frank Bissett accompanied
our Huronview Choir while
they sang. Mr. Nelson Lear
and Mrs. Elsie Henderson
sang a duet. Elsie favoured
us by playing a couple of
pieces on her bells. Elsie on
the organ, and Frank on the
piano played "Come Holy
Spirit", and "There's A
Beautiful Land on High"
duets. Elsie Henderson,
Cecil Skinner, and Norman
Speir played several more
pieces to put a fine finish on
a excellent program .
We were treated to an
hour's program by the
Harboraires from Goderich,
under the direction of L.
Dotterer, in the evening.
Mrs. Grace Peck and Mabel
Garrow acted as hostesses,
greeting and registering our
guests.
On Wednesday, Swinging
Seniors from Blyth, and the
Old Agers from Zurich
visited.
The Afternoon programe
was put on by Doris
McKinley and her ukulele
group. Miss Becky McKinley
gave us a chance to view her
step dancing with two lively
tunes.
Thursday, Senior Friend-
ship Club from Brussels, and
the Bayfield Ever Young
attended the picnic of the
group to the Orient held at
West Lorne on Sunday. This
group has met for a picnic for
the past 10 years.
Club came to visit. We had a
"Games Day" for
entertainment. This
consisted of Bingo and
Games of Chance. The Day
Care Center sold strawberry
shortcake which was a real
treat. Special thanks to
Clinton Lions members, Bill
Fleischour, Bert Gliddon,
Mr. and Mrs. Red Garon,
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart
Taylor, who ran the games of
chance and the bingo. Mrs.
Turvey and Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Fraser acted as host
and hostesses.
On Friday the Christian
Reform and the Exeter
Senior Citizens were our
visiting clubs. Entertainment
was provided by Marie
Flynn.
Musicians were Warren
Whitmore, Wilson
McCartney and Stanley
Hillen on violins. Hugh
Hodges and Ken Dale on
Guitars. Marie Flynn on the
piano and Lorne Lawson on
the mouth organ. Debbie
Flynn did some step dances.
The Huron Strings started
the program off by playing
Golden Slippers, Four leaf
Clover, Old Grey Bonnet.
Debbie Flynn step danced to
Black Velvet Waltz. Marie
sang Silver. haired Daddyof
Mine. The Huron. Strings
then played My Wild Irish
Rose, Moonlight & Roses,
The Old Spinning Wheel and
I Wandered Alone One Night.
Debbie danced to. Clogg, Jig
and Reel, followed by Ken
Dale who sang Take Good
C.ire of 11 'r. The Huron
Strings played Lamplight
time in the valley and several
favourite pieces, Hugh
I Hodges sang Endless Black
Ribbon. Lorne Lawson
played a couple of pieces on
his mouth organ. The Huron
Strings played The Special
Waltz and invited guests and
residents who wanted to
dance to get up on the floor.
It was an excellent programe
and at the conclusion Mrs.
Margaret Mitchell drew the
winning ticket for the
Ceramic Christmas tree
which she had made and
.donated. The winner was
Ruth Neilans. Mrs. Edna
Snell and Mrs. V. McCallum
greeted the guests at the
door and looked after
registration.
