Brussels Majestic Women's
Institute and guests sat down
to a delicious dinner catered
to by the Anglican Church
Women when the Institute
held their annual meeting
and election of officers on
Wednesday, April 11.
Mrs. Doris McCall, Pre-
sident, welcomed everyone
with an Easter
message.

speaker, Mrs. Shiela
Richards, President of the
Board of Directors of the
Blyth Centre of the Arts. The
Blyth, theatre will open June
29.
Mrs. Mary Thomas played
several selections on her
Auto Harp, followed by a
reading by Mrs. Dorothy
Steffler. The Conveners of
standing committees will get
together May 2 at 1:30 p.m.
in the Library basement to
plan the programs for the
new year.
Also at the meeting 'lively
sing-song was conducted by
Mrs. Leona Armstrong, with
Mrs. Lulu Kerr on the piano.
The Secretary-Treasurer,
Mrs. Alberta Smith read the
minutes and gave, the
financial report. The
Sunshine report was given by
Mrs. Ruby Steiss. Five lucky
ladies were winners of door
prizes - Miss Millie
McFarlan, Mrs. Florence
Cardiff, Mrs. Freeman, Mrs.
Mary Blake, Mrs. Peggy
Cudmore.
Four delegates chosen to
attend the District Annual in
Fordwich May 8, were Mrs.
Peggy Cudmore, Mrs.
Dorothy Steffler, Mrs. Alma
Watson, Mrs. Leona
Armstrong. The Achieve-
ment Day for the 4-H Club -
The Finah Touch, will be
held May 1 at 7:30 p.m. in
the Grey Central School. The
Summary Day for the
Needlecraft Course will be
held May 22 in the Howick
Community Centre.
