Midgets lose to Paisley
After winning in Brussels
and forcing a seventh and
deciding game, the Midget
team travelled to Paisley on
Wednesday night to lose a
hard fought game 7-5 to
Paisley. Scoring for Brussels
were Mike Watson with 2
goals, and Paul Johnston,
Ken Cousins and Brian/Ten-
pas with 1 goal each. Assists
went to Brian Tenpas, Paul
Johnston and Ken Cousins.
The Atom team was in
Teeswater on Monday night
for the second game of their
playoff series and defeated
the home team 4-1. The third
game of the series will be
played in Teeswater on Tues.

In other hockey activities,
the Peewee team eliminated
Zurich in their W.O.A.A.
playoff series. The first game
was played in Brussels on
Tuesday night with the home
team picking up a 4-3 win.

win to eliminate Zurich from
the playoffs. Scoring for

Armstrong with 1 goal each.

Catherine Cardiff of the
Brussels. Figure Skating Club
received a gold medal in
dancing at a figure skating
test day in Dundas on
Saturday, March 24.
This is the highest medal
awarded in dancing and in
order to achieve it Catherine
had to do the Rumba,
Argentine, Viennese and
Westminster dances.
Also on Saturday, Kevin
Wheeler passed his Kilian
dance at. Vanastra and Rob-
bie Cardiff got his second
figure in a test day at
Walkerton.
Those successful in passing
their preliminary figures,
were: Kim Fritz, Karla King,
Chris. King, Nanci Bennett
and Linda Axtmann; Dutch
Waltz - Michelle Vader, and
Jody Miller; Swing Dance
Linda Axtmann; Ten Fox,
Pam Sugg, Fiesta - Darlene
Bishop and Karen Cowan.
