AN ALL—STAR GAME — Teams from Monkton, Brussels and Mitchell
representing the South and teams from Drayton, Palmerston and Ripley
representing the north got together for an All-Star Hockey game for
Warren Smith of Monkton who suffered a heart attack while playing
hockey in the Brussels arena on February 18. The game was held Friday
night and about 300 people attended. Referees donated their time. The
final score was 19-6 for the south side. Here Warren Smith drops the
puck for Charlie Spalding and Larry Weir.
