The Midgets played two
exhibition games the last two
Friday nights. One week ago
they played Milverton whom
they defeated 7-1, Scoring
for Brussels were Ken
Higgins with 2 goals, Paul
Johnston 2, Ken Cousins,
Mike Watson, Neil Elliott 1
Jane Draper was the best
bowler on Tuesday, January
23 in the Brussels Mixed
Bowling League. Jane scored
with a 301 high single and
another high game of 214.
She was also the highest with
a 692 high triple making her
tops for the evening.
Next high scores went to
Tom Stevens with a 272
game and Jim Adams with a
610 high triple for the men.
Eighty curlers competed
on Jan. 22 at the Brussels
Salesbarn Bonspiel.
Tom Moore and his rink
from Goderich won the 9
a.m. draw and the Salesbarn
trophy with three wins and a
plus of thirteen.
Jim Byers' Brussels rink
was second with two wins
plus twelve over three
