CLIFF BRAY 887-6086 A euchre party was held in the Ethel Community hall on Monday evening January 22 when 13 tables were played. Winners were: Ladies' - high, Mrs. Charles Keeso; Low - Jim Cooper; Gents High - Fred Sawyer; Low - Harvey Beirnes; Birthday prize - Mrs. Dorthy Cox; Lucky cup - Mrs. Adrian Verstoef; Lucky cup - Mrs. Lloyd Smith. The annual congregational meeting of the Ethel United Church was held on Thursday evening. Mrs. Myrle Bowes was at the home of her daughter and son-in-law of Southampton, for two weeks, as her daughter Marilyn was a patient in the Owen Sound hospital. Douglas and Elmer Bruce and visits with her father Athol, Bruce who is a patient in the Wingham and District Hospital. Miss Karen Procter visited with her grandmother Mrs. Robert Procter for a couple of days last week. Harold Keatina spent weekend with Mr. James Smith of Stratford. Harold Keating visited one evening last week with his sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Snell of London. LEWIS STONEHOUSE 887-9847 A social evening was held in the 13elgrave Women's Institute Hall on Saturday evening in honour of Mr. and Mrs. James Coultes of East Wawanosh who have re- cently moved to Wingham. The evening was spent playing progessive euchre with 10 tables in play. The following winners were: High Lady - Mrs. Phil Daw- son; Low Lady - Mrs. Jim Taylor; High Man - Roy Dawson; low Man - Bradley Galbraith; Most Lone Hands - John Gaunt. After the euchre Edythe and Jim were called to the platform. Dick Moore read the address and Ronald Coultes presented them with a picture and cheese board. Jim thanked everyone and lunch was served by the Ladies. NINE TABLES Nine tables of euchre were in play at the Belgrave Weekly Euchre last Wednesday evening.
