Keith Brown finished 'his Advent Series of Sermons with “Gifts for the King”, pointing out that the greatest gift ever to be given was God’s gift to mankind of His Son. Time and time again in the Bible it says that “God gave His Son ...” This was pure and simply a gift to us to show His great love and we shall never ever be able to earn this gift and as a gift it should be gratefully received by us and used to His glory. The angels sang as their gift the shepherds “made known abroad the things they had been told con- •*cerning the Child”. We can testify like the angels and the shepherds, with our lives and our lips. The Wisemen presented the most costly of gifts, the very best that they had. can we do less?
