Hensali fared well over the Listowel team this year beating them twice and tieing them once. Steve Grainger opened the scoring in the first period assisted by Darrell Presz- cator. Hensall’s second goal came near the end of the period scored by Grant Love on assists from Dave Cann and Steve Grainger. Despite a strong effort in the second period, neither December 21, 1970 Pegs 31 team managed to score a goal, leaving the score at 2-0 for Hensali. It looked like Steve Sararas was going to have his first shutout of the season, then Listowel scored with 46 seconds left in the game to make the score 2-1. Listowel pulled their goalie to try to even the score, but Grant Love came up with his second goal of the game, on assists by Dave Cann and Ron May to give Hensail a 3- 1 win. Hensail’s next home game is December 29 against Blyth. BY SANDRA-LYNN ROONEY St. Patrick’s One night something very special happened. A new baby was born. The angels went out carolling. Christmas BY ROBERT SIMONS St. Patrick’s What is Christmas to me? Christmas is a day of giving and receiving. Christmas is a special day because it was when Christ was born. Christmas was called because it was Christ’s Mass. - It is a special day because everybody gets together and celebrates the bir thday of Christ.
