In the United Church, Sun
day the service was in
recognition of the work of
the Canadian Bible Society.
"The Living Word of God”
was the topic chosen by Mr.
Paul Schott for his sermon.
What is the Bible? — It is
not just a book of history but
should be a personal posses
sion forming the chain that
links us to our Saviour.
It is a book of faith
providing light for the lost,
comfort for the aged and
grace for the Christian. It is
the book of life and if we
read the entire book there
are references to meet all
our needs.
The choir sang an anthem
and the children’s story was
told by Mrs, Schott.
"White Gift Sunday” will
