The crowning took place at the college Christmas for­ mal, Friday night. The runners up were Heather Learn, RR 1, Mt. Elgin and Joe Dietrich, RR 3, Mildmay. Other contestants were Nancy DeBlock, RR 2, Den- field, Nancy Hurlbut, RR 2, Kemble, Doreen Vink, RR 1, Kirkt.on, Henry Kuttschrutter, rr 4, Stratford, John Gras, RR 4,’ Stratford, and Dave Ward’ RR 7, Strathroy. All of these students are currently in their second year at Centralia College. The judging for the com­ petition whs based on the students envolvement in sports, clubs, community and participation in college activities. Each person had a private interview with a panel of judges and gave a five minute prepared speech. The six judges were, Miss J. Bourque, Miss S. Fussel, Mrs. Carol Moore, Mr. Vic Hodgins, Mr. J. Stephens and Mr. J. Marshall.
