HAMILTON HODGINS WHALEN The annual meeting of the Whalen Community Club was held Friday evening at the Centre. Following the ’ business the election of of­ ficers took place. Officers are — Past president, Maureen Scott; President, Earl French; Vice President, Audrey Hodgins; Secretary Treasurer, Barbara Wallis; Promotional Committee, Audrey Hodgins, Marjorie Mills, Dorothy Hern; Trustees, Gerald Hern, Earl French, Gerald Wallis; Auditors, Margery Morley, Barbara French. A pot-luck supper will be held December 8 at 7 p.m., euchre to follow’ the supper. Lets have a good turn out. The United Church Women catered to the Co-op banquet Friday evening at the South Huron Rec Centre. There were about 350 people in attendance. Sunday December 3 the Singles and Doubles Club will curl in the afternoon followed by pot luck supper in Thames Road Church. Sunday December 10 the white Gift Service will be held.
