at Crediton 4-H
By JANE SULLIVAN
Crediton Club Five
gathered for the fourth
meeting of the 4-H
Homemaking Club Essential
Edibles on October 16, at the
home of Mary-Jo McCann.
Each member in turn,
answered the roll call; the
soup recipe I found based on
White Sauce. The girls read
the material for the white
sauce revised in the
members pamphlet.
The next part of the
meeting consisted of making
tea biscuits and creamy ham
and mushroom supper. They
made tea biscuits that were
undermixed, overmixed and
normal just to see the
results.
While the tea biscuits and
creamy ham and mushroom
supper were cooking they
discussed plans for the club
party and decided to have a
Halloween dress up party
and invite parents.
When the creamy ham and
mushroom supper was
finished it was tested and
gave opinions.
When the tea biscuits were
done results were compared.
