Centralia UCW meet
Discuss human rights
By MRS. FRED BOWDEN

Mrs. Iva Blair and Mrs.
Marion Abbott leading
devotions, opening with a
poem.

“The Friendship Cpntre”,

counselling and sports. He
was very informative on
ways they keep the native
folk at the centre too. Iva
Blair read the scripture.
Marion Abbott led in prayer.
Mrs. Lois Wilson favoured
with the solo “Let thy people
go.”

Sunday Service
Mr. Paul Schott in his
sermon at the service in the
United Church Sunday
morning referred to the
Ministry as a partnership.
The Session, Stewards,
Official Board and other
organizations of the church
are in partnership with the
minister to achieve a suc
cessful goal.
There is a large respon
sibility with being a member
of the church and an even
greater responsibility and
commitment in being a
Christian. The choir leader
and members have a great
responsibility in providing
the ministry of music.
Reference was made to the
work being done in the
Sunday School by the
superintendents and
teachers. We should be a
mirror reflecting God’s
presence and love in all we
do. An anthem was sung by
the choir and the children’s
story was told by Mrs.
Schott.
