Guest speaker was Peter
Voss, a member of the
Salvation Army Corps in
Kitchener and founder of the
SunbeamHomes for children
in Waterloo County. The
theme of the morning ser
vice was “Power Failure In
the Church.”
Mr. Voss based his
message on Josuah 7, noting
how disobedience to God’s
ways even today results in
allowingSatanto come in and
detract us from our
Christian responsibilities.
“Jesus Is Lord” was the
message in the evening
based on John 20. Using the
parallel of Thomas’ doub
ting, Mr. Voss pointed out
the danger of doubt being
prevalent
today.
