T-A photo Times-Advocate, September 28, 1978 PRESENTS Home Sewcer Area ladies top fair events Beatrice Thomson, RR 2 Kippen, won the most prizes in the baking competition at the 1978 Exeter Fall Fair and was crowned baking Queen. Finishing a close second was a perrenial winner, Mrs. Keith McLaren, Exeter. Taking junior baking honours was Patti Down. Placing second was Kathy Cooper. Nancy Perry was crowned sewing Queen with Nancy Wright of Hensail a close second. Elizabeth Datars of Dash- wood amassed the most points in the junior sewing competition with Nancy Perry in the runnerup position. In the junior arts and crafts competition, Carolyn Perry and Brad Baynham were tied with the most number of points. In photography the major prize winner were John Dobbs, Brad Baynham and Elaine Baynham.ERSMAN'S Commence activity with pot luck feed A pot luck supper was enjoyed by 20 members of the A.C.W. of Trivitt Memorial Church recently. The meeting opened with “Blest be the tie that binds.” Mrs. Andy Carter led the devotions which were in a Thanksgiving theme. A bake sale is planned for October 13. Mrs. Gerald McAuley is in charge of the programme for the next meeting. A gift was presented to Mrs. Chas. Poore to honour her for all her years of good work and fellowship with us. She is moving toHespeler. Rev. Anderson showed slides on Exeter Cathederal in England, the Barbados and Moose Factory. Notice to Hurondale Dairy Exeter Retail milk customers.
