Faith is sermon theme
By MRS. FRED BOWDEN
CENTRALIA
Peter’s healing of the lame
man was the biblical
reference upon which Mr.
Paul Schott based his
thoughts for his serman in
the United Church, Sunday
morning.
The Christian experience
is an uphill climb; said the
speaker. Are we willing to
accept responsibility and
obey the teachings of the
Bible to help promote God's
work in the world.
Mrs. Schott assisted with
the service by telling the
children’s story. She used
drawings to show the
manner in which a young
child can be taught the
meaning of “Faith.” The
choir sang an anthem and
Faye Blair favoured with a
vocal solo.
