ding anniversary Sunday.
They were entertained at a
family dinner at the

London, by Murray and ’
Karen. Guests included Mr.
& Mrs. Doug Insley, Exeter,
Miss Doris Schwartz, Mr. &
Mrs. Claire Schwartz and
family, Mr. & Mrs. William
Schwartz, Crediton, Mr. &
Mrs. George Wilson, Huron
Park and Miss Wendy
Tomkins, St. Marys.
Mrs. Harriet Holmes,
Lucan spent a few days
visiting the home of her
daughter Mrs. Cecil Hamm
and family.
Mr. & Mes. William
Stephen and Sheila Calgary
visited for a few days with
Mr. & Mrs. John Rodd,
Pamela and Calvin and also
visited with Mrs. Stephens
mother, Mrs. Frank Rodd in
St/ Marys Memorial
Hospital. Mrs. Rodd has
since been removed to a
Nursing Home in Tavistock.
Mrs. Kate Cacciotti,
Capreol is spending some
time with her daughter, Mrs.
Fred Parkinson, Fred,
Margaret and Janet.
Mrs. Ordel Webber visited
with her brother Mr. & Mrs.
J.C. McAlister of Stoney
Creek and while there at
tended the wedding of their
son Dr. James McAlister of
Toronto and Carol Wheeler
of Hamilton.
Cecil Hamm travelled to
Boston, Mass, to attend a
fruit growers conference
from June 18 to 22. He toured
experimental orchards and
equipment displays in the
states of Massachusetts and
New Hampshire before
returning home. A great deal
of information was gathered
along the way.
A large number from the
community attended the
beef barbecue at the
Kirkton-Woodham Com
munity Centre Saturday and
the Switzer Reunion, Sun
day.
