This fund is over the above the WMS budget and amounts to $2.25 per member. It is used in Canada and Overseas for such expenses as books, materials, Bibles, furniture and various other equipment and supplies in fellowship houses, camps, and chur ches. It consisted of a Bible study on Jesus’ mission to the world which was to preach, to teach and to heal. Small groups were formed and lively and in teresting discussion ensued. In keeping with the theme of the study, each member answered the roll call by naming a minister, a teacher or a doctor who had in fluenced their lives. For the Worship service Mrs. W. Thomson was assisted by Mrs. W. Brock, Mrs. R. Elgie, Mrs. V. Jeffery and Mrs. R. Fink- beiner. It dealt with various ways in which our United Church responds to the command given to Peter by Jesus — “Feed My Sheep.” Miss Ann Brodie played two piano numbers —' “My Task” and“In the Sweet Bye and Bye.” Mrs. Stewart Miner chose for her topic “Our Steward ship Garden.” Your garden is beautiful only when you work at it.
