HEBER DAVIS Rev. Mary Mells was in charge of anniversary service at St. Patrick’s church Sunday. She took her text from the Second Chapter of Acts. Mrs. Tom Kooy was at the organ and accompanied William Lambourne of London who sang two solos, Miss Marylou Tindall con tributed a clarinet solo. Rev. Mary Mills dedicated 250 CANVASSERS RAISE $12,668 FOR CANCER IN SOUTH HURON Such a magnificent effort can only be possible with the utmost co-operation, determination, motivation and com mitment of a vast number of dedicated volunteers. May I express my personal thanks to each co-chairman and cap tain for their very special commitment this year and through you to every campaign volunteer who had the op portunity to have ownership in this years achievements As a team you can be justly proud of the 'block' that you have firmly put in place with the financial support of continuing, meaningful, productive research programs and the patient services fostered by our Society. The future will continue to demand the high calibre volunteerism that you as individuals and as a team per sonify. To all the people, business firms, service clubs and organizations who supported the campaign and gave cash donations we say thank you. Did you know that over 100,000 mice participate annually in the cancer research program in Ontario. And that it costs from $3 to $7 to send a mouse to college for cancer research. A well conducted and successful canvass of funds for cancer, I believe, is one that reaches the total community and allows everyone the opportunity to support the fight against cancer and aid those who have contacted the dis ease. This we are striving to do but it takes a tremendous amount of planning and large numbers of volunteer helpers. If we did miss you, give me a callcmdlwe'li trymot to next year. It is not our policy to print the names of volunteers and to acknowledge their support this way because of obvious costs. But maybe we can do it once in awhile as we are this year. So take a look at the long list and find the names of those who covered your town or area. One thing is certain — we'll need all their support and yours too next year. Cancer can be beaten and we are making progress, but only with your continued support. .Sincerely, Carfrey A. This is a job you will only do once, so why not do it right? Here’s why Luxaclad* is the logical choice. Luxaclad* siding features the exclusive joint mould. Unlike other type's of siding, aluminum, vinyl or wood, Luxac lad siding sec lions loc k together with a "snap", thanks to the unique Luxac lad joint mould. 1 here's no need tor spec ial tools or c oniplic ated titling tec hniques to ac hieve a perfect lit everytime. Luxaclad* comes with a wide range of problem solving accessories. The' Luxaclad system is a c omplete one. Whether you need accessories for around windows and doors, starter strips, inside1 and outside1 lineal corner trims, joint moulds, window trims. You name1 it and Luxaclad has the1 part. And every accessory is available1 in the1 colour of the1 Luxaclad horizontal siding you choose. Some1 other sidings have1 trim made1 of a different material making an exact colour match virtually impossible. Luxaclad* always looks like it was installed by a pro. Because1 Luxaclad siding was designed especially for the1 do-it-yourselfer, it allows a wide margin for error and still looks like a million. No nails showing, it's always straight and perfectly aligned thanks to the1 interlocking feature, it cuts neatly with the1 simplest tools and the joints arc1 hidden by our exclusive joint mould. Specially Priced! HORIZQNTAL ... IN PLAIN WHITE Complete With BONDED Backerboard Easy to handle 9" by 12’ lengths that virtually end the need to paint. Bundle covers approx. 88 sq. ft. Luxaclad* siding comes with a bonded backerboard. Luxaclad siding is easier to handle1 and work with because it features a rigid bonded backer board. It is much lighter than hardboard, much easier to handle than unbacked aluminum siding. It cuts with a handsaw, (believe it or not) resists denting, and of course1 the1 backerboard adds valuable insulation to your home.
