Alan Hodgert returned home from St. Joseph’s Hospital London a week ago Monday. Gerry Riehl returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital London Friday evening. We wish them all a speedy recovery and the best of health. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Don Richardson on the birth of a son Brian Kenneth Thursday in Strat ford General Hospital. Several from this com munity attended the recep tion and dance on Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hodge (nee Debbie Siddall) at Kirk ton- Woodham Community Cen tre. Quite a number from this community attended Open House Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Evan Sims at their home in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary. Congratulations. Quite a number from this community called at the Hopper-Hockey Funeral Home Sunday and Monday to pay their respects to the late Clarence Johns who passed away Saturday. The sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. Johns and family. Mrs. Carl Willert Zurich, Mrs. Hazel Jeffery, Mrs. Glenn Jeffery and Connie attended Open House Sun day at the home of Mrs. Florence Heard near Kirkton in honor of her daughter Wendy whose wed ding takes place this Satur day. Final plans are being made for the pork barbecue Saturday evening at the church. Mission and Service church service will be held Sunday May 28 at Elimville United Church at 11 A.M. There will be no Sunday School, but the members are asked to sit with their Mid week Groups in the church service. Rev. Glenn Wright will be the guest speaker. GRADUATE — Elaine Oyerholt, daughter of Vic and Von Overholt, Centralia, recently graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program at Fanshawe College, London.
