This club’s theme centres ' around the preservation of fruit and vegetables. The meeting was held at Mrs. Down’s home May 8, 1978. The president Betty Neevel led the 15 members in the 4-H pledge and the secretary Carol Anne Van Wieren read the minutes of the first meeting. Answers to the roll call of why the members wanted to grow gardens seemed to have the same idea. They wanted fresh vegetables of their own preference on the table. The leaders Mrs. Down and Mrs. Neevel led the girls in discussions on various topics. members *1.10 ’1.15 ’2.60 GRANDEUR” THIS BEAUTIFUL NEW HOME ON YOUR FOUNDATION ROYAL HOMES LIMITED THE AFFORDABLE SOLUTION HUDAC NEW HOME WARRANTY PROGRAM Times-Advocate, May 18, 1978 Page 13 women By MRS.
