Greenway crash
By MANUEL CURTS
Real estate flew all over
the place when a car failed to
negotiate the curve here on
Saturday night. Fortunately
the married young couple of
London, who were the oc
cupants' were wearing their
seat-belts and were not in
jured. Damage to their
vehicle was a few hundred
dollars. Blowouts of two of
the practically new radial
tires was the cause.
Mr. & Mrs. Seibourne
English have been visiting
with the latter’s sisters in
and around Cornwall this
past week.
Success marked the dance
at the Parkhill Community

sponsored by the
management of the Corbett

weekend visitor at the home
of Evelyn and Manuel Curts.
Several from here offered
their best wishes to Mr. &
Mrs. Ken MacGregor at
their home on Sunday, the
occasion being their 40th
wedding anniversary.
A family dinner was held
at the home of Mr. & Mrs.
Ken Isaac, Sunday. Birthday
anniversaries have a habit of
coming once a year.
Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Young,
Oxnard, California, and their
nephew and niece, Oakville,
Ontario, were Saturday
visitors here. Mrs. Young is
the former Jean Russell, a
granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs.
W. J. Wilson, early pioneers
in this area.
