SPEAK ON SECURITY
The service at Hensall
United Church last Sunday
was conducted by Reverend
Don Beck with Dr. Ralph
Topp at the organ. Mrs.
Marianne McCaffrey, Choir
Director, sang the Lord’s
Prayer following the
Congregational Prayer. The
sermon was “On Seeking
Security” and was based on
the story of Jesus healing the
blind man and then picturing
Himself as a shepherd.
There are many
“Security” programmes in
life today but the only one
that gives real meaning to
life is the security promised
by Jesus. Jesus can remove
spiritual blindness; faith in
the Good Shepherd leads us,
through the cress, to the
Father. No one can snatch us
out of the Father’s care.
