The barn which was built in the 1870’s still has some of the original farming equip ment which was necessary in those days. A hay rack lifter and hay fork will recall memories for many who take part in ■ activities at the Exeter golf course. The upper floor of the barn has been completely renovated with hardwood flooring which came from Hyman’s Tannery in Lon don. Tables which are more than 100 years old and lead ed glass windows were also obtained when the Hyman building in London was demolished. Some windows and light fixtures come from the former Ontario Loan Deben ture building in London. The grand opening and open house at the Exeter Golf and Country club will be held Saturday, April 29. Visitors are welcome to the Open House Saturday afternoon between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and at 9 p.m, for a dance with Desjar- dine’s Orchestra supplying the music. The dance is sponsored by the Exeter and District Heritage Founda tion and all proceeds will go to the town hall restoration fund.
