ELSTON BIDDULPH Biddulph township residents face a four mill jump in their 1978 taxes over last year. The four mill increase, set by council at their April meeting, brings the township farm and residential mill rate up to 126.8 mills from 122.6 for last year. The commercial mill rate for this year was set at 144.1 mills compared to 139 mills for last year. The taxes on a farm and residence assessed at $6,000 will increase from $635.60 to $760.80. The main increase in the mill rate is due to an in­ crease in the township levy. It increases from 25.5 mills for farm and residential to 28 mills. The commercial levy went up from 30 mills to 33 mills. The County farm and residential rate dropped from 19.6 mills to 18.8. The commercial rate dropped from 23 mills to 22.1 mills.
