ART HODGINS Clandeboye Mrs. Lucille Blake return­ ed Friday from a weeks visit with her brother, Jack Gilbert, Mrs. Gilbert and family of Surrey, B.C. Sun­ day, Arnold and Lucille Blake were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Blake Con. 4 McGillivray. Mr. and Mrs Alan Hill attended the figure skating revue in Ilderton Sunday afternoon in which their granddaughter, Laurie St. Pierre was participating. Later in the day they enter­ tained all their family for Easter dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Rollings attended Baptismal service at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, London Sunday for their nephew, David Doresz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Doresz. After the service they were dinner guests of Mrs. Sarah Flitton. Linda Hardy accompanied Cindy Prest and .Kelly McCombs on a bus tour to Nashville, Tennessee, on the holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lynn and family returned on Mon­ day from a holiday in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Darling, Mrs. Arnold Lewis and Mrs. Ethel Donaldson were among the group from this area that attended the Grand Ole Opry Show at the Gardens, Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cun­ ningham, Kim, Tracey and Jill Spent Sunday with Mrs. Cunningham’s mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Knight, of Rodney. Philip Bell is back in University Hospital for sur­ gery and treatment on his leg. Philip had both legs and a wrist broken in an acci­ dent just before Christmas. Mrs. Clara Oliver of Ilder­ ton is recuperating at the home of her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. George Hindmarsh following an illness. On Sunday, they visited with their father, Lome Derbyshire at the Komoka Nursing Home. Mr. and Mrs. Garrit Van Kuelen and family, Brussels were Friday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Noyes and family. Mrs. Florence Simpson was a Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Thompson. Mrs. Ethel Donaldson spent Easter Sunday with her daughter Joan and Scott Sweitzer and family, Shipka. Mrs. Isobel Simpson entertained her family to Easter Sunday dinner at the Burkley Restaurant, Ex­ eter. After the meal they returned to her home for the evening. Attending were Joan and Peter Banks and girls of Brights Grove, Shirley and John Simpson and family of Kirkton, Bar­ bara and Clarence Carter and family, Wendy and Stephen Carter and baby Kenneth, Mrs. Viola Carter and Miss Sybil Stephenson.
