A committee of Huron county council has approved the project with county council yet to give its okay to the project. If the funds are forthcom­ ing. the project could be started in June with comple- tion at the end of the summer. A dance has been schedul­ ed for the middle of May to raise funds for the project. The township will par­ ticipate with the town of Clinton in a ministry of housing sponsored senior citizens survey with regards to the possibility of a geared to income housing project. Mel Graham, clerk- treasurer said that previous surveys had elicited few responses from the residents of Stanley. Council also announced tenders for the supply of 16,- 000 cubic yards crushed gravel will be issued. Tenders for the supply of 130 tons of calcium chloride will also be issued.
