Town mishaps Exeter town police officer^ are investigating the theft of flags from two locations this week. Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning flags were taken from in front of the Heritage Hall and from the flagpole at the Exeter Legion hall. Constable George Robertson is investigating. Sunday, Lloyd Reynolds, RR 1 Hensall, reported to police that his vehicle had , been struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked in a lot on William street. Main street, Exeter on August 28, 1977. Due to two conventions to be attended by council members, Stephen township council meetings will be changed for this month to February 14 and 28. At a recent special meeting, council engaged William “Cecil” Lovie to service the township’s water system. Lovie, a resident of the Mollard Line in the township will receive an hourly rate and mileage. Clerk Wilmar Wein commented, “it’s not a big job. He will be called in to repair the odd break.’’ The township office staff will handle billing for the water services.
