Bank loans to farmers rose by 250 million dollars, to a total of one billion dollars, an increase of 28 percent. Total farm debts are now nearly two billion dollars. Mr. Hannam pointed out that “Farmers are not borrowing to expand. Events scheduled are: 1:00 p.m. - cross-country ski rally — snowmobile and cross-country ski tours 2:00 p.m. — snowmobile rally — cross-country ski technique demonstration 3:00 p.m. — cross-country ski race — snowmobile and cross-country ski tours Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the snow­ mobile rally, cross-country ski rally and race.
