Centralia school students frolic
By MRS. FRED BOWDEN
CENTRALIA
“Our search for Triumph”
was the subject chosen by
Mr. Paul Schott for his
sermon in the United Church
Sunday morning. He based
his thoughts on Paul’s first
letter to the Corinthians
when he wrote warning his
people not to be filled with
pride but to be humble.
The key to life is to always
remember that we are not an
our own but we can gain
strength from God in dealing
with the pressures of life.
The Christian message lights
up peoples lives.
The children’s story was
told by Mrs. Schott. There
was a vocal duet by Mrs.
Judy Mills and Mrs. Glenna
Tripp and the choir sang an
anthem. Organ and piano
music throughout the service
was provided by Mr. Gill and
Mary Lou Tasko.
The Sunday School
sessions were brought to a
close Sunday for the summer
months with a morning of
frolic. There were games
and races for the junior
classes and the teenagers
were taken on a flight by Mr.
Bill Essery. The weather
was good and all report a
good time.

rest and action into life by
doing freely. Christian life
doesn’t keep score of good
