Barbara Carter visited Mrs. Andy Carter at the Sun Haven Nursing Home near Delaware on Sunday. Mrs. Viola Carter was in Gravenhurst for a few days last week to attend the graduation of her grand­ daughter, Pamela Brownlee. Debbie Lynn has com­ pleted her training as a medical laboratory technologist and has secured a full time position with the London Public Health Lab. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ainslie of St. Marys were Sunday visitors with the Hodgins at Shadyside Farm. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carter were guests at the Beck-Hogg wedding at Caven Presbyterian church, Exeter, Saturday. Lisa Carter returned Sunday from a two week holiday as she accompanied her Aunt Joan and Uncle Pete and cousin Kristi of Brights Grove on their motor trip to the Maritime Provinces and along the Cabot Trail. While in New Brunswick they visited their cousins Rev and Mrs. Stanley Tomes and family on Grand Ma naan Island. The Tomes were in the midst of moving to their new ministerial charge at Little Current Manitoulin Island after spending the past five years on Grand Manaan Island. Aggie and Pete Groenewegen motored to Sudbury on the week end taking along Aggies parents, Mr. and Mrs.’John Vis of Holland. In Sudbury the Vis will spend some time with their two sons also a daughter in Chelmsford and their families, before returning to their homeland. Several from the com­ munity attended the 25th wedding anniversary party for Les and Helen Drury of Lieury, held at the Lucan hostess on Thursday evening Community Centre, ’ “ ~..................... Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Art Hodgins and Pat and Mr. and Mrs. George Hindmarsh were among the many that at­ tended the 40th wedding anniversary celebtation for Isobel and Lyle Stokes held at Craigwell Gardens, Ailsa Craig Sunday. Gwen McDonald and Dorothy Joyce of Windsor are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Williams. Lionel and Beryl Shipley, Ottawa were week end guests of Jean and Lyle Lee and Monday they visited with Mary and Wilmer Scott. Mrs. Rupert Williams was for the Clandeboye U.C.W, President Mrs. Chas Coughlin led the devotions and gave her report on Westminster Week end and U.C.W. Fun Day at Camp Kee-Mo-Kee. There will be no services at Clandeboye United Church during July while Rev. Keith Brown is on vacation. Services will recommence on August 5. The congregation is in­ vited to join with Lucan at their service at 11:15 a.m, on Sunday. If there is any emergency during July while Rev. Brown is on vacation, please contact Rev. HUGH MORENZ SHIPKA Bill and Melva Rammeloo, attended a three day con­ vention last week at Niagara Falls, guests at Sheraton Brock hotel, where they attended a design school for flower arranging. Other hilites were touring the ultra modern Can Am greenhouse, Vineland experimental station and botanical gar­ dens. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Swartz, Crediton, and Mr. and Mrs. Mil ton Sweitzer, Shipka, were dinner guests Sunday, at Milton’s sister, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Evans at Lambeth. Mrs. Pat Cleve was hostess at her home, Tuesday evening, for a jewellery demonstration, featuring Michele Lynn products. Debby Plantinga, of Huron Park was the demonstrator. Tom and Rosanne Russell, attended the pork producers congress last Wednesday in Stratford. Jacquie and Jennie Russell spent the day with Annie and Hugh Morenz. Eleanor and Glenn Durie, visited Tuesday in Toronto with Glenn’s grandmother, Mrs. Peter Wardlaw, who was celebrating her bir­ thday. Harvey and Gloria Beierling attended a dinner party, Friday evening at Zurich arena, in honor of Gloria’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Adkins 60th wedding anniversary. Sandra and Tony Regier, Christopher and Heather, of Detroit, are holidaying at their cottage here. Donna Baker of Sarnia spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ken Baker. Bill and Michelle Morenz, Goderich visited Sunday here with Bills parents. Congratulations to Harvey and Gloria Beirling, on the birth of a baby boy, June 5, a brother for Kevin. Harvey Ratz has returned home from South Huron hospital, Exeter, where he was a patient for several days. Kelly and Kim Campbell, visited Wednesday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sweitzer. Mike and Bonnie Erickson attended a Houlahan reunion Sunday in Michigan.
