He is the son of Mr. and Mrs Ray Wuerth, Exeter and is married to the former Linda Hern. They are living in Burlington where he has accepted a position with John Deere Canada Ltd. in the marketing division. Clan de boy e • ladies tour The June meeting of the Clandeboye Women’s Institute was held in the form of a tour. Convener of Agriculture and Canadian Industries, Mrs. Chas. Coughlin, arranged a tour of the Arc Industries at Dash­ wood where the trainable retarded receive a wonderful training in many different trades. Following lunch at Grand Bend and a short business meeting, they visited the Lambton Heritage Museum and “Christmas Place” in Grand Bend. Twelve members and two visitors enjoyed the tour. Personals Mrs.Jeanette Ovens and her sister, Mrs. Jean Weber, Cornwall were joint hostesses Sunday afternoon at the former’s home south of Clandeboye, to honour their mother, Mrs. Verda Taylor, Exeter, who was celebrating her 80th bir­ thday. During the afternoon, many relatives, friends and neighbours called to extend their best wishes. Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. John Ovens and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Noyes were guests at the Lang-Gamble wedding reception held at the Lucan Community Centre following the wedding at Denfield Baptist Church. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carter and family visited their aunt Mary Carter Exeter, who is a patient in St. Joseph’s Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Art. Hodgins were guests at the Morley- Johns wedding Saturday at Elimville United Church and the wedding reception at Kirkton-Woodham Com­ munity Centre.
